Khun Kith was born in Kampot, Cambodia. He was raised in Cambodia as a child however, due to the Khmer Rouge, Khun immigrated to Montréal, Québec, Canada in 1979 as a refugee. Mr. Khun studied hard and eventually graduated from Polytechnique Montréal, a public research university affiliated with the Université de Montréal. He then went on to pursue a master’s degree in electrical engineering at the University of Waterloo, which he completed in 1989. He later changed careers and moved to Toronto, Ontario owning various restaurants in the Greater Toronto Area. Over time, Mr. Khun decided to focus on the distribution side of the restaurant industry and is now the owner of Tung Fong Food Services, a successful food wholesaler and distributor, servicing customers in southern Ontario since 1999.

Dr. You-Zhi Tang
Dr. You-Zhi Tang is an internationally recognized cleantech expert and entrepreneur. After receiving his PH.D. from Dalhousie University (Canada) in 1987, Dr. Tang served as a senior manager and executive in major Canadian engineering and environmental companies, with technical and management responsibilities in air quality, IAQ and occupational health & safety, environmental science and engineering, as well as sustainability practice for businesses. He is now the Chairman of Canada CleanTech Capital Inc. and shareholder or director of several cleantech companies.
During his environmental career, Dr. Tang has assisted numerous Canadian companies in completing their challenging projects in pollution prevention and control as well as in compliance with environmental laws and regulations. He worked with almost all industrial sectors and particularly the industries of iron & steel, forestry, pulp & paper, oil & gas, coating, aerospace, printing, transportation and construction.
In the past 15 years, Dr. Tang has been heavily involved in renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, bio-energy, small hydro, geothermal, as well as nuclear fusion. His most recent focus is on hydrogen technologies, with 5 patents awarded for inventions in solid state hydrogen storage technologies and their applications, and about a dozen new applications currently under review by patent offices. He also has several patents in wastewater treatment, motor vehicle emission control, and others.
Dr. Tang has been working on waste re-utilization projects, such as turning organic waste into fertilizer and bio-mass fuel, as well as used tire treatment and utilization. He is currently working on the deployment of an innovative technology that produces hydrogen while wastewater with high ammonia / ammonium content is being treated.
Dr. Tang is Adjunct Professor or Academic Advisor for 4 universities. He was a UNDP senior advisor, served as a peer reviewer for US Centre for Indoor Air Research (CIAR) in 1990’s, a Review Expert for the Ontario Green Fund, and Overseas Advisor to Zhongguancun Science Park (the first and largest science and technology park in China). Dr. Tang is recognized as a National-Level Expert.
He is also Past President of Air & Waste Management Association-Ontario Section, Co-Chair of Canada China Sci-Tech Alliance, and the Founding Chairman for Canada-China Environmental Cooperation Council. He has been recognized as a leader in sustainable development, received the Canada China Low Carbon International Development Award on January 21, 2011. He was an invited speaker at numerous international conferences and forums and has been featured in many media articles and TV shows, as well as three books on Chinese Canadian elites.
He was a recipient of many awards including the Green Toronto Award – 2007 Environmental Award of Excellence, and Toronto Climate Hero Award.
Dr. Tang was named the 2015 Global Chinese Influential Person in Environmental Science and Technology by Hong Kong Satellite TV. He received the 2019 Qilu Friendship Award from Shandong Provincial People’s Government, as the only Canadian receiving such honor in the year, and the 2022 Hebei Provincial Science and Technology Award, a very prestigious award in China.
Dr. Tang was the only Canadian scientist who had Canada-China low-carbon and cleantech cooperation projects awarded / announced to his team during the past three visits by a Canadian Prime Minister. He has provided advisory services for conceiving, planning and design of two universities as well as several economic development zones and high-tech parks. He was invited to visit Vietnam, Cambodia, and Chili for environmental and clean energy cooperation, and now serves as a board member for a French technology company.
Dr. Raymond Ng
Dr. Raymond Ng received both his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Toronto Medical School. He obtained further training from the University, specializing in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgery. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and as well a certified specialist by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Surgery. He has practiced in the GTA for close to 20 years and successfully treated over thousands of patients with various forms of upper airway obstructive syndromes, including snoring and obstructive sleep apnea, using the latest surgical procedures, such as laser palatal surgery alone or in combination with other surgeries, including tonsillectomy, septoplasty, turbinate reduction and tracheotomy, and non-surgical modalities such as dental appliances (mandibular advancement device) and continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP).
Dr. Ng's Ph.D. thesis was in the field of cancer research. Throughout the years, he has published numerous scientific papers, abstracts and co-authored newsletters, scientific journal articles and internet information articles. He has presented his findings in many scientific conferences, education lectures, seminars and radio talk shows for patients and family physicians in Canada and the United States. He is presently one of the co-investigators of a cancer research project at the Princess Margaret Hospital, Division of Radiation Oncology, University of Toronto.
